"Et il en est fier de son prix de la FIPRESCI, le Xavier, rejoint à Paris. À cause de son jeune âge, 24 ans, le cinéaste a souvent l’impression que les critiques se comportent en instituteurs qui corrigent ses devoirs. « Être validé par ses pairs, par des gens qui voient beaucoup de films, c’est se savoir sur la bonne voie. Comme cinéaste, on veut s’améliorer toujours, et c’est remarqué. Voilà. » Bientôt, il ne sera plus vu comme un phénomène de précocité et d’audace. Juste comme un cinéaste."
